Ina M. WILLIAMS, 64, of Galeton, PA, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. Born February 9, 1962, in Coudersport, she was the daughter of Carl Brown and Barbara Ann Beiling Burchell.
She was employed as a bartender by Hunting Valley Inn in Gaines and Wonder Bar in Galeton. She was last employed by Truck-Lite in Wellsboro. Ina enjoyed motorcycle riding, walking, and horses. She loved her grandbabies.
Surviving are: her boyfriend, companion, and caregiver, Fred Robinson of Galeton; three children, Melissa Williams of Galeton, Matthew (Heather) Williams of Arnot, and Jessica Williams of Galeton; two stepdaughters, Shawna (Steve) Pollock of North Bingham and Frances Robinson of Osceola; nine grandchildren, Vinessa, Blake, Brynlee, Bentley, Jacob, Grace, Lilly, Avery, and Elliott; two sisters, Julie Schmidt of Hornell, NY and Tammie Lancenese of Galeton; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents.

ROULETTE, PA—On Thursday, June 18, 2026, Mary Lorraine Ayers Kio died peacefully surrounded by her family.
Born on June 29, 1939 in Coudersport, she was a daughter of Emma and Truman Ayers. She had 12 siblings, three of whom preceded her in death.
Mary was married on April 3, 1954 to Robert Henry Kio, who died in 2002. Together they had eight children: Lorraine A. “Lori” (deceased) (Mike) Baker, Cindy L. (Bob) Baker, David L. (Julie) Kio, James L. Kio, Joseph A. Kio (deceased), Kenneth L. (Kelly) Kio, Wade W. (Cheri) Kio, and Joyce K. (Brad) Tucker.
She was a devoted, proud, and highly protective grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother to 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
A strong woman who worked most of her life in various positions, she taught us all what family, honor, and respect was supposed to look like.
Her passion was winning at Bingo. She loved playing Bingo and visiting with her friends at the Fire Hall, but she really, really loved winning Bingo prizes and money.
A celebration of her life will be held from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Roulette Fire Hall, 12 River Street, Roulette, PA.

Larry K. VARADY, 76, of Genesee, PA, died Wednesday, June 17, 2026 in his home. Born May 25, 1950, in Phoenixville, he was the son of Joseph and Helen Kish Varady. A graduate of Phoenixville High School, he was employed as a mechanic by Philip Morris.
Surviving are: his wife, Kathi; two children, Ken and Jennifer; two stepdaughters, Nicole and Rebecca; four grandchildren; a brother, Joseph (Kathy) Varady, Jr.; nieces and nephews.

COUDERSPORT, PA—Ronald E. “Archie” Lohr, 88, of Coudersport, formerly of Novelt, PA, passed away in his home with his loving family by his side, on Monday, June 15, 2026.
Born on Friday, March 18, 1938 in Greensburg, he was a son of Glen and Mary Collier Lohr. On February 10, 1991 in Coudersport, he married Linda Setzer Cole Lohr, who survives.
Archie was a graduate of Hurst High School, where he was a quarterback on the football team. He graduated from Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia with a degree in Engineering.
Archie was a veteran of the US Army having served for 14 months on the DMZ in Korea.
For 38 years, Archie was employed as an Audio Engineer for NBC affiliate WPXI TV Channel 11 in Pittsburgh.
Archie was a former member of Hecla Sportsman’s Club in Helca, PA, a former member of Sportsman’s Association of Greensburg in Norvelt, and was a former member of the Sinnemahoning (PA) Sportsman’s Club. His relaxation times came from keeping his Ram trucks sparkling clean and would spend the entire day polishing them, he LOVED to dance to country music like George Jones, Vern Gosden, Don Williams and Merle Haggard. He was the FIRST on the dance floor and that would get everyone up and dancing. He enjoyed hunting the mountains in Potter County around Wharton and Logues Run since he was 15. His “Big Heart” and laugh will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 35 years, Linda; his former wife, Donna Wadsworth Lohr; a son, Mike (Linda) Lohr; a daughter, Sandy Lohr (Stephen) Puskar; a grandson, Kyle (Kylie) Puskar; two great-grandchildren, Johnna and Mckenna; three stepsons, Jay (Connie) Cole, Corbett (Dina) Cole, and Nathanial ( Cara) Cole; and six step-grandchildren, Aylson, Sarah, Gabriel, Liberty, Austin, and Jaxson.
In addition to his parents, Archie was predeceased by his precious one month old son, Brian Scott Lohr.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held on a date and place to be announced. Burial will be in Sweden Hill Cemetery, Coudersport.

James L. Wooster, 78, of Limestone Run, Limestone, NY, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Olean General Hospital.
Born March 25, 1948, in Bradford, he was a son of the late John E. and Norma Jean (Hurst) Wooster. He was a 1966 graduate of Bradford Area High School.
On December 30, 1966, he enlisted into the United States Army. He served 2 tours overseas in Vietnam and was honorably discharged on September 15, 1969.
On September 25, 1971, in the Bolivar Drive Baptist Church he married Patsy (Silsby) Wooster who survives.
After the service, he was employed at Servomation Vending Company. In the early 70’s he started his own company, Jim’s TV Service, repairing televisions. He continued to refine that business into the original dish sales and installation company, Wooster Service’s, followed by sales of Dish Network TV.
He had several hobbies throughout the years including CB radios, building/repairing/programming computers, and riding his horses Amber and Sapphire. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1560 of Limestone.
Surviving in addition to his wife Patsy, of 54 years, are two daughters, Jamie (Mike) Spencer, of Bradford, and Shelly (Jeff) Benner, of Limestone, four grandchildren, Alyssa (Dayton) Young, Nicolas Spencer, Madison Spencer, and Kaden Benner, two great grandchildren, Oliver Young and Avery Young, two sisters, Gwen Hatch, of Bradford and Penny (the late David) Distrola, of Lebanon formerly from Bradford, and several nieces and nephews.

Grace E. Kissell, 89, of St. Marys and formerly of Butler, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Pinecrest Manor, following a brief illness.
She was born on April 29, 1937 in Monroeville, PA, a daughter of the late Asa and Florence Page Miller.
On November 24, 1962, she married the late Joseph Kissell, who preceded her in death in 2007. Together they shared more than 45 years of marriage.
Grace was a member of The Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and in 2023, she made the move to St. Marys to be closer to her beloved daughter, a move that brought her great joy and precious time with her family. A dedicated nurse, she attended the Presbyterian University Hospital School of Nursing and devoted her career to caring for others. She worked for many years at the Eye and Ear Hospital in Pittsburgh, Forbes Regional Hospital, and later in home health care. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures-losing herself in a good book, enjoying a shopping trip, listening to music, and spending treasured moments with her grandchildren. She remained especially fond of her beloved dog, Chipper, whose memory stayed close to her heart long after his passing. Gifted with a wonderful sense of humor and a naturally optimistic spirit, she faced life with grace, rarely complaining and always finding reasons to smile. Her love of music was a lifelong passion; she played both the piano and organ and shared her voice in church, enriching the lives of those around her through song. Her kindness, resilience, and unwavering positivity will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
Verna L. Slater, 75, previously of Mt. Jewett, passed away Saturday (June 13) in the Sena Kean Manor. She was born Aug. 9, 1950 in Marienville, the daughter of the late Raymond and Ruby Stahlman. She married Bruce S. Slater on Nov. 2, 1968. They shared 52 years together before his passing in 2020.
She retired from Sena Kean Manor, where she worked for over 30 years in housekeeping and laundry services. Verna enjoyed camping with her family, crafting, reading, and puzzles.
She is survived by Two daughters, Laurie (Tom Miller) Slater of Lewis Run, and Maria (Sergei) Swanson of Bradford; two sons, Bruce R. Slater of Mt. Jewett and Shannon Boyd of Apoka, FL; three sisters Bonnie Jefferds of Mt. Jewett, Ella “Kittie” Tobin of Olean and Anna Wood of Olean; eleven grandchildren, Kiersten Slater, Eddie Slater, Bryce Slater, Morgan Slater, Hailey Slater, Sidney Slater, Anthony Bonini, Dillon Mika, Madison, Tyler and Breanna Boyd; six great-grandchildren, Kensly Wolff, Azrael Stefini, Nova Slater, Alivia Myers, Bryson Slater and Aston Gifford and several nieces and nephews.

Margaret C. Clark “beloved mother, grandmother, and sister”
ROULETTE, PA—Margaret C. Clark, 90, a lifelong resident of Roulette, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026, in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, after a long illness.
Born on Sunday, August 11, 1935, in Sinnemahoning, she was a daughter of George F. and Helen Mae Copenhaver Caldwell. On September 2, 1961, in Roulette in Riverside Methodist Church, she married Donald M. Clark, who passed away on March 9, 2006.
Margaret was a graduate of Emporium High School. She loved working in the secretarial field, which included typing and bookkeeping. She had been employed at the former Potter County Hospital, North Penn Gas, and the former Charles Cole Memorial Hospital. She was also employed by Attorney John Duvall in Coudersport for over 27 years. She was then employed by Attorney Daniel Glassmire and was also employed by Four Seasons Realty in Coudersport, from where she retired at the age of 70.
Margaret was a member of Riverside Methodist Church in Roulette where she sang in the choir. She spent 1000’s of hours volunteering at the former Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport, assisting her daughter, Diane, who was the hospital hairdresser, doing hair on Long Term Care. She loved to travel to North Carolina to her grandson’s home, where she very much loved seeing her great-grand dogs, Bourbon and Odin. Her last trip was in October at the age of 90. She never missed an opportunity to see her grandsons. She adored her grand dog—Odie. Margaret also volunteered for the American Cancer Society collecting donations. She loved to read Amish books. Her greatest love was her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Anne-Marie P. BERRY, 64, of Ulysses, PA, died Friday, June 12, 2026 in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport. Born September 22, 1961, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of George C. and Frances A. Jeres Berry.
A 1979 graduate of Galeton Area High School, she served honorably as a corpsman with the US Navy after high school. She was very proud of her Navy service. Anne-Marie worked as a caregiver.
Surviving are: her mother, Frances Berry of Galeton; two children, Christina (Bob Hauber) Lavoie of Westfield and Zachary (Alyssa) Worthington of Ulysses; four grandchildren, Chloe, Chase, Brylee, and Tiernee; two brothers, Charles C. Berry of Westfield and Thomas V. (Gail) Berry of Jacksonville, AL; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father; and her friend and companion of 38 years, Basil T. “Mutt” Worthington.

Susan Shaw Gordon, 82, of Fort Worth, TX passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026, In Fort Worth, TX.
Susan was born to the late Edna and Glenn Gordon Shaw on October 12, 1943, In Greenville.
She was raised in Bradford, Susan spent time in Erie before moving to Texas in the early 1980’s. It was there that she met and married Clarence Gordon. They were married for 20+ years and resided in Springtown TX before his passing in 2025.
She is survived by her brothers John (Susan) Shaw and Steve (Lea) Shaw, children Ruth (Michael) Kelley, Gordon (Deborah) Snook, Mary Martin, Amy Barnaby, Richelle (Andy) Aston, and stepson Billy Gordon, along with six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
GOLD, PA—Jacqueline A. Schoonover, 79, of Gold, passed away in her home with her loving sons by her side on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
Born August 9, 1946, in a little cabin on Cutler Summit outside of Gold, she was the daughter of George and Edith Cutler Mack. Jacqueline was a graduate of Northern Potter High School, Ulysses, Class of 1964. On October 9, 1965, in Andrews Settlement Church, Mrs. Schoonover married Daniel F. Schoonover Sr., who passed away on April 27, 2013.
After her marriage to her lifelong love, Jacqueline became a Domestic Engineer aka the world’s greatest wife and mother, to their four sons. Mrs. Schoonover is remembered throughout the area for her highly talented artwork as she continued to paint up until her recent death. She is remembered as always riding around the Pennsylvania country roads sitting right next to her husband Daniel in their travels and adventures. Most will remember her working right alongside her family through the years at the Potter County Anglers Club Inc from 1967 through 2012.
Surviving are her four sons, Daniel F. Schoonover, Jr. of Genesee, Timothy F. Schoonover of Rose Hill, NC, Michael G. (Madison) Schoonover of Colorado Springs, CO, and Shawn Schoonover of Swain, NY; six grandchildren, Taylor (Hannah) Schoonover, Bethany (Alex) Schoonover-Kruze, Micah Schoonover, Luke Schoonover, Mason Schoonover and Max Schoonover; five great-grandchildren, Eloise, Laurel, Rowan, Iliana, and Finnegan; her siblings Dan Reed Mack, Kenneth Mack, Gary Mack, Cheryl Windsor and David Mack; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Daniel Schoonover and her parents, Jacqueline was predeceased by one brother, Donald Mack.
At Jacqueline’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral services. Burial will be in Wells Cemetery, Oswayo, next to her husband, Daniel Schoonover.

Quentin R. Smith, 94, formerly of 620 Lehner Avenue, St. Marys, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
He was born September 9, 1931 in St. Marys, son of the late Jerome and Louise Cunningham Smith. He grew up in Johnsonburg and graduated from Johnsonburg High School, Class of 1950. Quentin served his country in the United States Coast Guard from 1951 until 1954. He worked for Keystone Carbon Company before taking over ownership in the family business at Smith Motors.
On August 27, 1955, in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Quentin married Phyllis Wittman, who survives. They were blessed to share seventy years of marriage.
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of June P. McShane of North Fork, PA on June 8th, after a lengthy illness. June was born in Trenton, NJ on November 20, 1935 to the late Anthony K. and Ethel C. (Mathews) Thornley of Morrisville, PA.
A graduate of Morrisville High School, class of 1953, June married and moved to Bensalem, PA. She is survived by her children, Linda, Paul (Darice) and Jeff McShane; Grandchildren, James (Sislaine), Shawn, Taegen, Bridget and Ian McShane; Great-grandchildren, Madeleine and Laura McShane; and Nephew, Dr. Glenn Thornley (Lorrie).
June was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Theodore Jack McShane; as well as her brother, Anthony K. Thornley, Jr. and nephew, Christopher Thornley.
June worked as a dental assistant for many years before transferring to the insurance side of dentistry. She loved traveling around the country with her husband in their RV and going on trips with her friends, Mary and Louise. June also loved gardening, her cats, and spending time with her family.

Born on Wednesday, January 12, 1944 in Coudersport, he was a son of John and Jane Housler Dynda.
For most of his life, Jim was employed as a pipeliner.
Left to cherish his memory are his three sons, James F. “Jimmy” (Rebecca) Dynda, Jr. of Austin, George A. (Kimberly Gockley) Dynda of Austin, and Pete L. (Amber) Dynda of Grove City; his loving companion, Jerri “Hun Bun” Olmstead of Shinglehouse; a son-in-law, Mark VanWhy of Austin; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, John (Judy) Dynda of Austin; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert C. SHELLEY, Sr., 86, of Port Allegany, PA, died Friday, November 28, 2025 in Sena-Kean, Smethport, PA.

Born November 26, 1939, in Port Allegany, he was the son of Max R. and Ruth Carl Shelley. On May 1, 1959, in Elizabeth City, NC, he married Julia Jones, who predeceased him on May 2, 2005. A U.S. Navy Veteran, he served honorably from 1957 – 1960. He was employed as a supervisor by Port Allegany Borough. Bob was a member of the Canoe Place Fish and Game Club and was active in local bowling leagues. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed farming and riding his Harley Davidson. Bob cherished time with his family. He especially enjoyed dancing at the weddings of his grandchildren.
Surviving are: two sons, Robert C. (Diane) Shelley, Jr. and Joseph M. (Amy) Shelley, both of Port Allegany; six grandchildren, Joshua (Nicki) Shelley, Nate (Tiffany) Shelley, Samantha (Stephen) Weidner, Jennifer (Derek) Matheson, Christie Homell, and Wayne (Linda) Homell; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, John Kephart of New Middletown, OH; two sisters, Jane (Joseph) Kaziska of Port Allegany and Sue Kephart Carpenter of Norfolk, VA; nieces and nephews.

Ronald Allen Tingley passed away at home on April 17, 2026, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was a devoted husband and loving father and Papa. He was a proud Marine and always had a smile and kind words for everyone.
Ron graduated from Bradford Area High School and immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged on June 20, 1968, with the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Stars, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal with device.
He was well known for his many years in the automotive industry as an owner, manager, or car salesman.
Ron shared 43 wonderful years of marriage with his wife Michelle (Burkey) Tingley. They built a life filled with music, beach trips, golfing and cherished time with their family. He leaves behind his children, son Christopher and (MaryAnn) Tingley, daughter Jennifer Tingley, and Matthew and (Ivy) Tingley; grandchildren Ryan, Austin, Jackson and Jameson Tingley, a brother Terry Tingley and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Melissa Sue Tingley; his parents, Almon and Frances Y. Tingley; two sisters, Carole Green and Beverly Pecor; and one brother Barry Tingley.
Ron lived a full and meaningful life and was often described as a “good guy”- loyal, friendly and genuine. Cheers, Ron – this Bud’s for You, “Go Browns!”
Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday June 13, 2026, at 10 am in Willow Dale Cemetery with Rev. LeRoy Beckes, retired Presbyterian minister officiating, followed by Military Honors with members of the United States Marine Corp. and the Honor Guard of the Bradford American Legion Post 108.

Earl Eugene Black, 66, of Looker Mountain Trail, Rixford, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026, at his residence, after a brief illness.
Born October 14, 1959, in Bradford, he was the son of the late Frederick L. Black, and Joyce A. (Hibbard) Black who survives.
Earl was a 1977 graduate of Bradford High School. While in high school he worked at the Bradford Area School District Bus garage. This is where he learned his mechanic skills. He also worked at several area dealerships and car garages in the Bradford area. Prior to his retirement, he worked at Pitt Corning in Port Allegany. Earl was also a handyman for area families.
Surviving in addition to his mother Joyce Black of Bradford, is one daughter, AbbyGayle A. Koch of Alma NY, several grandchildren, including Alaina Koch and Alexzander Koch, two sisters, Phyllis Peters, of Smethport, and Patricia Campbell, of Allegany, NY, two brothers, James Black of Holley NY, and William Black of Bradford, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Black, and one son, Eric Black.
Private funeral services will be held for his family at McKean Memorial Park Cemetery.

Anita Eileen Vollmer, 79, formerly of Sunrise Road, St. Marys, passed into God‘s embrace on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Elk Haven Nursing Home. She was listening to John Denver and holding the hands of her daughters as she took her final breath.
She was born January 21, 1947, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy Brown Green.
On May 21, 1966, she married her handsome sailor, Joseph Vollmer, who proceeded her in death on April 8, 2025. Together, they shared more than 58 years of love, laughter and travel.
Anita was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, class of 1964, and was a member of St. Marys Methodist Church. For 30 years she was one of the amazing Ames girls where she made lifelong friendships. Later, she retired from Rite Aid, carrying with her a strong work ethic and a genuine kindness that touched those around her. Away from work, Anita poured her love into all the children she babysat and her family, pets, and friends. She had a great love of Neil Diamond and loved going to music concerts. Anita‘s favorite activity was camping and each spring the migration (of anything not nailed down) from the house to the camper began. Anita loved nothing more than sitting around the campfire making mountain pies and sailing with Captain Morgan, telling stories and laughing with her friends. Music filled her life and anyone that knows Anita can remember her singing and dancing until the band stopped playing. People were important to her and she never forgot their favorite food or something in particular they would like for Christmas. Anita loved crossword puzzles and musicals and knew the words to every song.
Kathryn Pauline Martin, 69, of Coudersport, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 4, 1957, in Ridgeway, the daughter of the late Leonard J. and Glendora M. (Trumbull) Bennett. She married Timothy J. Martin on November 29, 1980, and have celebrated 45+ years of marriage together.
Kathryn graduated from Ridgeway High School and worked as a Teacher at the M0nessori School, now Head Start, Coudersport. Kathryn enjoyed camping, gardening, and crafts. She loved making birthday cards for her family.
In addition to her husband, Tim, Kathryn is survived by five children: Pam (Jordan) Smith of Oregon; April Martin of Meadville; Seth (Kerisa) Martin of Coudersport; Aaron Martin of Coudersport; and Carrie Martin of Emporium; 16 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; a brother, Leland Bennett of PA; sisters: Janine Fields of Brandy Camp; Joyce Bennett-Bressler of Saint Marys; Amy Anderson of Brandy Camp; and Marilyn Bennett-Tucker of Saint Marys; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gregory A. Taylor, 77, of Bradford, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026 at his home.
He was born on May 6, 1949 in Olean, NY, the son of the late Charles Taylor and Norma Hamilton.
He was a 1968 graduate of the Bradford Area High School.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War.
On April 13, 1973 in the Bolivar Drive Baptist Church; he married Gail L. Brown who survives.
He was employed by the City of Bradford for thirty-eight and a half years; retiring on January 13, 2012 as the Refuse Department Foreman.
He was a member of the Teamsters Local #110. He enjoyed working on vehicles in his younger years and he was a talented woodworker. He was also an avid Buffalo Bills and NASCAR fan.
In addition to his wife of fifty-three years, Gail Taylor of Bradford; he is also survived by one daughter, Christine (Megon Windsor) Priest of Bradford; two sons, James Taylor of Bradford and Mark (Heather) Peace of Leesburg, FL; two sisters, Carol Bradish and Deborah Taylor both of Bradford; twelve grandchildren, Austin, Cody, Kierstin, Cameron, Blake, Gage, Jesse, Sierra, Ian, Xadra, Mark and Shania and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by one son, Gregory Jackson, two brothers, Richard and Gary Taylor and two sisters, Linda Kohler and Karen Modica.
Graveside services will be held in McKean Memorial Park on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.

Eldred– Ann C. Marsh, 86, of Eldred, PA, passed away on Saturday (June 6, 2026) after a brief illness.
She was born August 27, 1939 in Bradford, the daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Ross) DeGolier. In 1958, she married John Thomas Wilcox, who died in 1962. Ann was fortunate to find her loving husband of 63 years, Keith D. “Duey” Marsh, with whom she raised six children together.
Ann was a longtime resident of Barden Brook, Eldred and an Otto Eldred graduate of the class of 1957. She was a homemaker for many years, a volunteer Girl Scout leader and a 4-H Club leader.
Ann worked various jobs in the community, owned and managed her own horse tack and clothing shop until she started her heart’s passion of caring for children. Ann opened a daycare center in her home that ran for many years. She always had a special place in her heart for her daycare kids and all her friend’s and neighbor’s children. Ann had a special way of talking with someone and making them feel like they were the most important person in the whole world. -“There’s nothing like an Ann Marsh hug”. Ann also enjoyed her Barden Brook lunches and her Red Hat’s Group monthly.

Waneta P. Snyder “beloved mother, grandmother, and sister”
COUDERSPORT, PA—Waneta P. Snyder, 89, a longtime resident of Coudersport, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, after a short illness.
Born on Friday, September 18, 1936 in Oswayo Township, she was a daughter of Louis C. and Kathryn Yeager Perkins. On May 24, 1958 in the Chrystal United Methodist Church, she married Milton L. “Bud” Snyder, who passed away on October 14, 2009.
Waneta was a graduate of Shinglehouse High School. She was employed for many years as the Deputy Register of Wills and Recorder of Deeds for Potter County.
She was a member of Park United Methodist Church in Coudersport. Waneta and her beloved daughter, Betsy, together enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, and exploring quilt shops in the Pennsylvania and New York areas. She was an avid reader.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, James M. (Sherri) Snyder of Coudersport; two grandsons, Logan M. (Jessica) Hathaway of Cincinnati, OH and Taylor L. (Joanne) Hathaway of Coudersport; three great-grandchildren, Brooks Hathaway, Quinn Hathaway, and Kashlynn Hathaway; a brother, Lynn (Francine) Perkins of Millport; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Waneta was predeceased by her daughter, Elizabeth A. “Betsy” Snyder, who passed away on October 13, 2023; two sisters, Gladys “Tookie” Dickerson and Emma Lauver; and two brothers, Louis A. “Louie” Perkins and Steven Perkins.
In keeping with Waneta’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. A private family graveside service will be held in the Eulalia Cemetery, Coudersport, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband and daughter. The Rev. Gregory Rapp, pastor of the Park United Methodist Church, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Waneta’s name may be made to the Coudersport Public Library, 502 Park Avenue, Coudersport, PA 16915.
