At 12:18 Lafayette Township Volunteer Fire Rescue was dispatched to the intersection of Rt.219 and Rt.59 for a MVC with injuries. Two patients were transported to BRMC by MA-1 and MA-1A and 1 patient to UPMC Kane by MA-10
On March 18, at 12:26 pm Lafayette Fire and Ambulance were dispatched to Rt. 219 near Tacks Inn for a two vehicle crash with possibly four patients. Air medical is on stand-by
At 9:05 AM on Monday, Kane Fire & Ambulance have been dispatched to Route 66 South at the bottom of James City Hill. Vehicle is reported to have struck a tree.
At 7:30 AM on Monday, Norwich Twp. Fire, Port Allegany Fire & Austin Fire Dept. were dispatched to Scaffold Lick Road & Lady Slipper Lane to continue a search for a Port Allegany couple whose vehicle became stuck yesterday.
The Fire Depts. & State Police spent several hours on Sunday searching for the car in the massive Scaffold Lick area containing thousands of acres located between Route 155 & Rt. 46.
Shortly after this morning’s activation, McKean 911 center received a call from the missing and were going to attempt to ping their phone for location. A State Police helicopter was not able to help due to the weather.
Morning temperatures in the 20’s contributed to the urgency of the search.
At 8:34 AM, Austin units dispatched were recalled. We’re hoping that is an indication that they have been located but we’ve heard no confirmation as yet.

There is a suspect that has shot at the state police and now is in a house. In the area of West State. Please stay clear of that area. If you live in that area keep all doors locked and away from the windows.
Busy day for the department today. 6 members were attending Muncy area mutal aid training weekend for advanced rit. Depts 6,14,25,26 dispatched for a motor vehicle accident reported two vehicles possibly no injuries. Rescue 6-8 arrived on scene and established command and confirmed two vehicles off the road. EMTS on the rescue went to work assessing the patient and reported 1 injury on scene. Chief 6 arrived and assumed command. Command requested that all units that haven’t responded to stand by in station. Engine 6-2 responded as well. Ambulance 26-6 arrived on scene and after further assessment they determined that the patient wanted to go to the hospital by vehicle and not by ambulance. Patient went to the hospital and fire and rescue crews returned shortly after.

At 10:05 AM on Friday, Jay Township Fire Dept. has been dispatched for a structure fire at 125 Kennedy Street in Byrnedale. Caller reports smoke coming from a wall. Additional stations recalled. West Penn Power to the scene where a contractor drilled into the main entrance cable shorting it out and causing arcing.
At 11:16 PM on Thursday, Westfield, Elkland, Osceola & Chatham have been dispatched to a house on fire at 1323 Tannery Hill Road in Osceola. Valley ambulance also dispatched. Middlebury & Nelson dispatched with tankers.
On March 14, at 5:30 Westfield, Knoxville, and Clymer were dispatched to 941 California Rd. for a log truck rollover crash with ejection and entrapment. The patient’s legs are trapped under the vehicle. Harrison Twp. rescue vehicle has been dispatched. Knoxville, Harrison, and Clymer have been recalled by Chief 5. Westfield Chief reports the patient has self-extricated. Air Medical is transporting to a trauma center.
