Ronald Allen Tingley, Loving Papa And Father

Ronald Allen Tingley passed away at home on April 17, 2026, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was a devoted husband and loving father and Papa. He was a proud Marine and always had a smile and kind words for everyone.
Ron graduated from Bradford Area High School and immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged on June 20, 1968, with the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Stars, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal with device.
He was well known for his many years in the automotive industry as an owner, manager, or car salesman.
Ron shared 43 wonderful years of marriage with his wife Michelle (Burkey) Tingley. They built a life filled with music, beach trips, golfing and cherished time with their family. He leaves behind his children, son Christopher and (MaryAnn) Tingley, daughter Jennifer Tingley, and Matthew and (Ivy) Tingley; grandchildren Ryan, Austin, Jackson and Jameson Tingley, a brother Terry Tingley and several nieces and nephews.

Ron lived a full and meaningful life and was often described as a “good guy”- loyal, friendly and genuine. Cheers, Ron – this Bud’s for You, “Go Browns!”
