District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reports that a RIXFORD man will serve a state sentence for a sex offender registration violation. Allen YORK received a sentence of not less than 20 months to not more than 40 months by the Judge today during a sentencing hearing at the courthouse.

YORK is not eligible for any early parole and he must submit a DNA sample.  2nd Deputy District Attorney Sarah Dufresne prosecuted the case on behalf of the Commonwealth. Pennsylvania State Police Corporal Sierra Rooke investigated the case.
