Christa L. BUECHLER, 56, of Galeton, PA, died Sunday, October 18, 2026, in UPMC Williamsport.  Born June 28, 1970, in Wellsboro, she was the daughter of Richard W. and Antonia M. “Toni” DelGrosso Grant.  

On July 13, 1990, in Wellsboro, she married John W. Buechler, who survives.  A 1988 graduate of Galeton Area High School, she devoted her life to raising her family.  Christa had a big heart.  She loved doing the things that held her family together, gardening, cooking, and sharing moments that made memories.  She always wanted to make sure that her family was cared for and safe.  Christa enjoyed the outdoors, summer, and nature.  She waited every year for the hummingbirds to come.  She cared for animals in her home and in nature.  

Surviving, besides her husband, John, are: her father, Richard W. Grant of Sunderlinville; three children; Angelynn Buechler of Wellsboro, Alec Buechler of Galeton, and Alexa (Andrew) Kozuhowski of Wellsboro; two granddaughters, Xiana and Aila; an aunt, Sandra Brooks of Mansfield; her godfather, Mark DelGrosso of Elmira, NY; and cousins.  She was predeceased by her mother.  

Services will be private.  Memorials may be made to Teacher’s Pet Rescue, 19 Blackberry Lane, Coudersport, PA 16915.  Arrangements are under the direction of Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA.
