MCKEAN COUNTY MAN SENT TO STATE PRISON FOR SEX OFFENDER REGISTRATION ACT VIOLATION AND OTHER CHARGES
District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer announces that a Port Allegany man has been sentenced to state prison for a sex offender registration violation and other charges.
Karl RENNER was sentenced by a judge at the McKean County Courthouse today to a sentence of not less than 32 months to not more than 64 months on charges including Failing to Verify (sex offender notification act) (Felony 2); Carrying a Firearm without a License (Felony 3); and DUI (Misdemeanor).
RENNER is not eligible for any early parole and he must submit a DNA sample. 2nd Deputy District Attorney Sarah Dufresne prosecuted the case on behalf of the Commonwealth. Trooper Angelina Kimberly investigated the case.
