Registration Open for CARE ‘fore’ Children Golf Tournament

Bradford, PA – The Pennhills Club will host the 33rd annual CARE ‘fore’ Children Golf Tournament on Sunday, August 2, 2026. The tournament is a four-person scramble with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start and flighting based on overall combined team handicap.
Entry fees are $65 for Pennhills members and $85 for non-members, covering green fees, cart, and food on the course. The total purse is $3,600, based on 36 teams, with additional prizes on par-3 holes. To register a team, contact the Pennhills Club Golf Pro Shop at 814-368-6159 ext. 3, under the direction of John Rook, PGA Head Professional.
Every round played directly benefits children and families in the region. Proceeds support CARE’s Pediatric Outreach Programs, including social work services, developmental screenings, and pro-bono therapy, as well as Therapeutic Recreation Programs for children with disabilities and special health care needs. Funds also support Child Safety Initiatives through the McKean County Partnership of Safe Kids Pennsylvania, which works under CARE’s leadership to prevent accidental childhood injuries and promote safer communities.
Last year’s tournament fielded 35 teams and raised over $44,000 thanks to the generosity of sponsors, donors, volunteers, and participants. More than 200 local businesses, organizations, and donors support the event each year.
