Dana L. Burgett, 84, of Austin, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in his home, surrounded by family.  He was born November 11, 1941, in Wellsville, NY to Francis and Beatrice L. (Eddy) Burgett.  On July 9, 1961, he married Alice Lepold, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage.  Dana worked at the Pierce Glass Plant, was a member of the Austin VFW and the Sinnemahoning Sportsmen’s Club, and enjoyed motorcycle riding with his wife, hunting, and fishing.

He is survived by his children:  Randy Burgett, Teri Lee (Ralph) Gleason, Jody Ullman, and Butch (Colleen) DeBoer; grandchildren:  Joseph (Crystal) Burgett, Nathan (Shaina) Burgett, Tara (Tim) Cheplic, Jarred (Lashella) Gleason, and Willy (Eryn) DeBoer; great grandchildren:  Blake (Mackenzie) Burgett, Dalton Burgett, Xavier (Kylie) Stiles, Kierstyn Stuckey, Gracelynn Cheplic, Izaiah Cheplic, Caroline Gleason, Cerissa (Luke) Glover, Haidyn Burgett, Cooper Burgett, and Skylar DeBoer;  brothers:  Francis (Cheryl) Burgett, Robert (Bridgett) Burgett, and Rodger (Vanessa) Burgett, and several great great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, three sisters:  Anita Henderson, Judy Hooftallen, and Genny Burgett Gribble; a grandson:  Jason R. Glover; and a son:  Billy Burgett.
