Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:45 am at the Evans Memorial United Methodist Church, 1447 South Avenue, Lewis Run, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12pm. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Frogtown.

Bimp was born in Warren, PA on December 18, 1943, the son of the late Wallace B. and Dora Troutman Malone. He attended Warren Area High School and graduated in 1962.

Beverly A. Feldbauer, 72, of St. Marys, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 29, 2025, following a brave battle with cancer.
She was born on December 11, 1952 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Alvin and Alberta Schneider Wolfe.
On July 19, 1997, she married Thomas Feldbauer, who survives. Together, they shared more than 27 years of love, laughter, and marriage.

He was born June 10, 1930 in St. Marys, PA a son of the late L. Neil and Ophelia Dodson Coppersmith. On May 1, 1949 at the First United Methodist Church he married Wilda Ober Coppersmith, who survives. They spent over 75 wonderful years together.

The Pavilion to Host Open House Hiring Event for Nurse Aides, CNAs & LPNs

Bradford, PA – The Pavilion, at Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC), a Kaleida Health facility, is excited to announce an open house hiring event on Thursday, April 3, 2025. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event is a great opportunity for job seekers to explore careers in health care and join a dedicated team committed to the community.
The Pavilion is currently hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as well as enroll interested participants in the Nursing Assistant Training Program (NATP). New competitive sign-on bonuses are being offered for new hires, which include: $5,000 for full-time and $2,500 for part-time CNA positions as well as $7,500 for full-time and $3,750 for part-time new hire LPNs. The Pavilion also offers competitive shift differential rates including 8% for evenings and 14% for nights.
For those interested in starting their healthcare career, The Pavilion offers a paid three-week nursing assistant training program with rolling admissions. This program, that has a 100% graduation rate, provides paid state testing and requires no prior experience to apply. Graduates of the program receive assistance with job placement upon successful completion and be eligible for the sign-on bonuses; $5,000 for full-time and $2,500 for part-time positions.

Lane Restriction on I-80 WB in Union County
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of lane restriction on Interstate 80 westbound between mile markers 205 and 207 in Union County, due to cargo recovery and removal of a tractor trailer from the median following a crash that occurred last evening.
Motorists can expect the left (passing) lane to be restricted. Currently there are no delays, and the lane restriction is expected to be lifted later this afternoon.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, and drive with caution in the area.

Mary E. Francis, 90, of 8 Stone Street, Cuba, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025 at Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing, Wellsville, after a lengthy illness.
Born on May 4, 1934, in Cuba, she was a daughter of Dean and Ruth (White) Young.
She was a graduate of Cuba Central School. She then served in the United States Air Force from September 28, 1953 until February 17, 1955.

Debra Ann (Wilson) Burzynski, 67, of Wellsboro, passed away Friday March 28, 2025, at UPMC Williamsport. She was born July 10, 1957, in Wellsboro to Ivan and Ann (Hippensteel) Wilson. She graduated from Wellsboro High School and Mansfield University, and on November 15, 1991, she married Mark Burzynski. Debra had attended St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Wellsboro, she loved nature, spring, and her family. She was a devoted mother and wife.

Louis F. Monti, 89, formerly of 1216 East Main Street, Bradford, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Brevillier Village in Harborcreek.
Born on September 20, 1935, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Joseph and Rena (Zandi) Monti. Lou was a 1954 graduate from Bradford High School.
On January 14, 1955, he enlisted in the United States Air Force in January of 1955, he served 11 months overseas and was honorably discharged on December 1, 1958, with the rank of Staff Sergeant.
