Patricia M. “Pat” Ingalls, 91, of Genesee

Patricia M. Ingalls “beloved mother and grandmother”
GENESEE, PA—Patricia M. “Pat” Ingalls, 91, of Genesee, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.
Born on Friday, July 5, 1935 in Andrews Settlement, she was a daughter of Selin C. and Mildred Lowanna Slingerland Barber. On February 27, 1954 in Andrews Settlement Union Church, she married Alwin D. Ingalls, who passed away on August 27, 2006.
Pat was a graduate of the former Genesee School in Genesee, PA. For several years, Pat managed the gift shop at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport. She was then employed as a helpmate for many Wellsville, NY area residents.
Pat was a member of Churches of Christ in Christian Union, where her husband served as a pastor at three of their locations. In her early years, Pat enjoyed cooking, sewing and reading. Her greatest loves were the Lord and her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Frederick S. (Candace) Ingalls of Genesee; a daughter, Melanie Ingalls of Wellsville, NY; an adopted granddaughter, Megan (Robert) Parker of Heath, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Daphne, Eugene P., Kathryn, Jedidiah, Colin, Andrea, and Melissa; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was predeceased by her son, Alwin “Dutch” Ingalls; two grandsons, Evan and Eugene D.; and two brothers, William “Bud” Barber and Vernon “Bunk” Barber.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside burial service at 11am on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in Woodland Cemetery, Coudersport. Pastor Harold Kiel of Bingham Center Bible Church, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Pat’s name may be made to Bingham Center Bible Church, 1159 Collins Hill Road, Genesee, PA 16923 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Pat entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
