Laura Jane PARSELL, 92, of Galeton, PA, died Friday, October 16, 2026.  Born August 5, 1934, in Orangeville, she was the daughter of Marshall and Mary Drum Unger.  

On December 27, 1958, in Orangeville, she married George D. Parsell, who predeceased her on December 14, 2024.  A graduate of Bloomsburg High School and Coatesville Hospital School of Nursing, she was employed by the Northern Potter School District as a school nurse, Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro as Registered Nurse, Potter County as a visiting nurse, and the Green Home in Wellsboro as the first nursing supervisor.  Jane was a member and served as organist of All Saints Episcopal Church, Brookland, PA.  

Surviving are: two sons, Todd M. Parsell and G. Douglas (Marlene) Parsell, both of Galeton; four grandchildren, John M. Parsell, Cortney Parsell, Laura Parsell, and Cara Parsell; nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, James M. Unger.  Services will be private.  Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Brookland, PA.  Memorials may be made to Goodyear Hose Company or Gale Hose Ambulance, Galeton, PA 16922.  Arrangements are under the direction of Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA.
