Theodore J. “Ted” KIBBE, 84, of Galeton, PA, formerly of Harrison Valley, died Sunday, June 21, 2026, in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.  

Born May 30, 1942, in Coudersport, he was the son of Ivan and Myra I. Outman Kibbe.  He was employed by Eberle Tannery in Westfield and by various construction companies. Ted served as a Harrison Township supervisor.  

Surviving are: three children, Theresa Jo Woodkirk of Wellsboro, Theodore J. (Summer) Kibbe, Jr. of Clarkston, WA, and Judy (Fred) Swan of Galeton; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews.  

He was predeceased by seven sisters, Arloene Jones, Mary Lou Kibbe, Virginia Lampman, Beverly Tormey, Betty Metcalf, Loveda Potter, and Violet; and five brothers, Byron “Jum” Kibbe, Jacob H. Kibbe, Cleon Kibbe, Russell L. Kibbe, and Ivan L. “Ike” Kibbe, Jr. 

Friends may call at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM, with Funeral and Committal Services following at 1:00 PM.  Rev. Darryl Eyler will officiate.  Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dynasty Softball, c/o Sasha Kibbe, 201 McCutcheon Road, Harrison Valley, PA 16927.
