Sharon E. Cunningham (Sheri), 69, of Greeves Street

Sharon E. Cunningham (Sheri), 69, of Greeves Street, passed away Wednesday, January 7, at UPMC Hamot, with her loving family by her side.
She was born June 27, 1956, in Kane, the daughter of the late C. Richard Hodgdon and Joanne Terry Snyder. On August 31, 1974, in Kane, she married Thomas Cunningham, who survives.
Sheri was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and caring sister who found joy in cooking, gardening, sewing, working puzzles, and watching the Indianapolis Colts.
As a mother and grandmother, Sheri’s love knew no bounds. Her family was her greatest pride, and she poured herself into caring for them, guiding them, and celebrating them. Her presence brought warmth and reassurance, and her love will continue to be felt through the generations she helped shape.
Sheri was the owner of the Limberlost Restaurant and later worked at the Texas Hot. She was known for her strong work ethic and for the lifelong connections she formed with employees, coworkers, and members of the community she served.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Renee (Christopher) Rudisill of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Meagan (Daniel) Kitchen of Chula Vista, California; and a son, Jeremy Cunningham of James City. She is also survived by her sisters, Kathy Micheau (Don) of Kane, Bobbie Cappello (Jack) of Kane, Cindy Willis (John) of Warren, Tracy Pierson (Brian) of Kane, Kelly Johnson (Joe) of Kane, Eva Rustin (Rusty) of Texas, and Heather Maloney of Eldred; and by her brothers, Brad Snyder of Kane, Jim Hodgdon (Theresa) of Ridgway, Joel Hodgdon of Texas, and Cody Hodgdon of Erie. She is further survived by her stepmother Annie Foulkrod of Wilcox, and stepbrothers Jake Hodgdon of Florida and Mike Foulkrod of Wilcox.
Sheri was a proud grandmother to Dakota Menteer of Bradford, Emma Cunningham of James City, and Grayson and Jackson Kitchen of Chula Vista. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dick Hodgdon, and her stepfather, Wells Snyder.
In accordance with Sheri’s wishes, services will be held at the convenience of the family.
