Fun-draising At (BAPL) Bradford Area Public Library

Raising money for worthy causes can be daunting, but there is no reason that it cannot be fun! BAPL is putting the ‘fun’ back into its fundraising efforts this October.
The library is hosting a month-long raffle for six beautiful granny square afghans. The afghans are the result of a community-inspired project that spanned the summer, with hundreds of granny squares donated by individuals throughout Bradford. BAPL is grateful to the following ladies who donated their time and talents to stitch each square into a blanket: Marcia Green, Honami Iwasaki, Beth Price, and Lynne Hobbs. The afghans can be viewed at BAPL, and raffle tickets (10 for $5) can be purchased at the Circulation Desk as well as on the library’s website at this link:

October will go out with a bang during BAPL’s first Boo Bash on Thursday, October 30, at 6PM in BAPL’s Community Room. For the price of a $25 ticket, attendees will enjoy live musical performances by ten talented artists, themed finger foods that are as tasty as they are spooky, and bottled beer, wine coolers, and seltzers will be available at the cash bar. Basket raffles will also add to the excitement. Costumes are optional but strongly encouraged for this festive event! BAPL is grateful for the generous support of Gold sponsors, B&T Building Services and Luv Toyota, as well as our Bronze sponsor, Control Chief. Their charitable giving has enabled BAPL to bring this fun event to fruition. Boo Bash tickets can also be purchased easily and securely from the library’s website at this link:
