Zach Brody Wins Iron Grouse Trophy at Second Annual Iron Grouse Shoot at Bradford Gun Club

Bradford, Pa.: Zach Brody came out on top of the 80+ experienced shooters and grouse enthusiasts that showed up Saturday, July 11, at the Bradford Gun Club to make the Second Annual Iron Grouse Shoot in Pennsylvania a huge success. The Ruffed Grouse Society/American Woodcock Society sincerely thanks the Bradford Gun Club for their excellent facilities and accommodations.
And a good time was bountiful despite the hot sun. Shooters got to shoot their choices of 25-clay trap, 25-clay skeet, 25-clay 5-stand, and 50-clay sporting clays at the outstanding facilities at the Bradford Gun Club on SR 770 south of Bradford, McKean County. The final score is a compilation of all four shoots. All shooters have a chance to win overall top prize.
Attendees came from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New York, and Ohio.
Four different raffles were available – the Brittany Basket raffle to honor a wonderful dog, a bucket raffle of grouse hunting items, a card raffle on a Rossi RS22 rifle, and a 50/50 raffle. Purina sponsored dogfood for the shooters. In addition, the Ruffed Grouse Society/American Woodcock Society offered a pop-up store of their unique shirts, hats, glasses, mugs, and patches.
Rob Litterini, all the way from Pittsburgh, won the Brittany Basket. Nick Orich held the lucky card on the .22 rifle raffle. Justin Hosier won the 50/50 raffle. Over 20 shooters were winners in the bucket raffles.
Breakfast snacks, coffee, drinks, and a pulled pork or barbecued lunch were served off the spacious bar in the lunch room of the Bradford Gun Club. Shooters got to sample Bird Dog coffee while they waited under the long, shaded roof of the porch of the Bradford Gun Club.
