Coudersport, Pa., July 13, 2026 – UPMC Cole is expanding access to high-quality women’s health services as a cornerstone of its regionalized approach to care with the addition of Steven Smith, M.D., to the UPMC Magee-Womens team in Coudersport.

Dr. Smith specializes in obstetrics and gynecology and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed his medical education at University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington, Ky., and residency training at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, Va. Dr. Smith serves as the medical director for UPMC Magee-Womens of UPMC Wellsboro.

As part of UPMC Magee-Womens, the obstetrics, gynecology, maternal fetal medicine and women’s specialty teams in north central Pennsylvania work closely with providers and experts across all UPMC hospitals to provide expert care, regardless of location.
