Program Title: Bird Basics
Date: Friday, July 3rd
Time: 3:00 PMLocation: Environmental Learning Center Description: Join the park educator for all things birds! Short program on bird identification and how to use binoculars, followed by a bird walk through the park. Binoculars will be provided, but feel free to bring your own pair. Program Title: Fliers of the Night
Date: Friday, July 3rd
Time: 8:00 PM
Location: Campground Amphitheater
Description: How many owls are there in PA? Where can we find these nocturnal birds of prey? Come to this amphitheater program and find out some interesting facts about owls. Short talk followed by a movie—feel free to bring snacks and a blanket!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Program Title: Red, White, & Blue Scavenger Hunt
Date: Saturday, July 4th
Time: 3:00 PM
Location: Environmental Learning Center
Description: Come out and explore Sizerville State Park and search for red, white, and blue colors in nature! Children should be accompanied by an adult and sturdy footwear is recommended. Feel free to bring sunscreen, bug spray, and a bottle of water.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Program Title: Trivia Night
Date: Saturday, July 4th Time: 7:30 PM
Location: Campground Amphitheater
Description: Sizerville is hosting its first ever trivia night! Join the park educator for a trivia game on Pennsylvania’s mammals – a prize will be given to the winning team as well. Children should be accompanied by an adult and this program is open for all ages. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Program Title: Nature Craft & Story
Date: Sunday, July 5th
Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Environmental Learning Center
Description: Come down to the ELC and join the park educator for a short story followed by a make and take craft. This week’s topic will be birds!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
