Ruth L. Brandon, 80, Of Westfield

Ruth L. BRANDON, 80, of Westfield, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Broad Acres in Wellsboro. Born June 17, 1946, in Trochu, Alberta, Canada, she was the daughter of Rev. Bertram Leonard Brandon and Edith C. McKee Brandon.
She attended Cowanesque Valley High School, loved ice skating in her younger years, and throughout her life found joy in drawing, sewing, gardening, interior decorating, puzzling, and bingo.
She was blessed with several caregivers who meant the world to her and she loved each one dearly. She cherished her grandsons and absolutely adored her great‑grandsons, who filled her life with joy.
Surviving are: two children, Rhonda (Tadd) Neal of Westfield and Robert (Christy) Potter of Gainesville, VA; two grandsons, David L. (Monica) Clark of Rome and Derek Neal of Westfield; two great‑grandchildren, Decker Clark and Ryker Clark; five siblings, Maryann Giesbrecht, Paul (Evelyn) Brandon, Elizabeth Hornberger, Faith (Gary) Kildow, and Helen Brandon; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Dr. Bert Brandon, Jr. We are profoundly thankful to the staff at Broad Acres Nursing Home. Their patience, kindness, and unwavering dedication provided comfort to our mother, even when her needs were challenging. Their daily compassion meant more than words can express.
A gathering to celebrate Ruth’s life will be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Broad Acres, 1883 Shumway Hill Rd, Wellsboro, PA 16901 in support of their current fundraiser for a new ambulatory stretcher. Arrangements are under the direction of Olney‑Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA.
