On May 18th Port Allegany Fire and Ambulance were dispatched to 716 N. Main St. for a two vehicle head on accident with entrapment and possible injuries

Sizerville State Park Environmental Education Programs, Weekend of July 25^th

Program Title: Stream Study

Date: Saturday, July 25^th

Time: 3:00 PM

Location: Near Pavilion 3

Description: Join the park educator to look for macroinvertebrates, like stoneflies and crayfish, in the stream, along with learning their importance. Short talk followed by exploring the stream - expect to get wet so bring along water shoes, swimsuits, and a towel!

Program Title: Film in the Forest: Hummingbirds

Date: Saturday, July 25^th

Time: 8:00 PM

Location: Campground Amphitheater

Description: Did you know that a hummingbird’s wings beat approximately 70 times per second? Join the park educator for an info session on hummingbirds that will cover topics like how fast these tiny birds can fly, what their diet consists of, and so much more! Short talk followed by a movie—feel free to bring snacks and a blanket!

To register for a program, go to the DCNR Calendar of Events website, search Sizerville State Park, find the program listed, and click on the Register button right under the program date, time, and location.
