A Celebration of Life for a Beloved Wife, Mother, Teacher, and Friend
Smethport–We are heartbroken to share the passing of our incredible mother, Kama Margaret Smith Cleveland. She was not only the heart of our family, but also a devoted teacher who spent her life guiding, encouraging, and uplifting generations of students. Her impact reached far beyond the classroom.
Please join us in honoring her life with a Memorial and Celebration of Life — a gathering to remember her warmth, her wisdom, her laughter, and her passion for teaching and traveling the world, on May 31, 2025 at 11AM in the United Methodist Church of Smethport, 601 King St., Smethport, PA 16749. Services will be held in the Sanctuary and a reception to follow in the church hall.
We welcome all who knew and loved her—former students, colleagues, friends, and family—to stay for a casual gathering with food and fellowship. A light meal will be served, featuring sandwiches, salads and refreshments. Come to share stories, photos, and memories that capture the spirit of who she was. Kama believed in lifelong learning, kindness, and showing up for others—and we hope this day reflects those same values.
She taught with love, lived with grace, and leaves behind a legacy that will continue in every life she touched.
With love and gratitude, Beth, Carol, Amy, and Sara, Loving daughters of Kama Cleveland
