OLEAN, NY – Olean General Hospital (OGH), Kaleida Health facility, is proud to announce the winner of the 2026 July Star Award. This month’s recipient was Jordan Fletcher, an environmental service aide. Fletcher has been with OGH since June 2025.

“Jordan consistently keeps patient rooms and the nursing station clean. Patients often comment on how professional he is. He does an exceptional job, is very thorough and takes great pride in his work. Jordan is always polite, pleasant and a joy to work with,” said his nomination.

The Star Award is presented monthly to an employee who demonstrates outstanding performance and inspires the same in others. Staff members are nominated for exceptional customer satisfaction, continuous performance improvement, teamwork, communication, ownership/accountability and excellence through co-worker or patient nominations.

The following were also nominated for Star Awards: Jocelyn Huselstein, RN, emergency department; Tina Ramire, RN, case management; and Michelle Young, RN, obstetrics.

Star award recipients receive a chamber of commerce gift certificate, additional paid time off, a certificate of recognition and the star award parking spot.
