Crafters and vendors are invited to participate in the Tioga County Cat Project’s Meowy & Bright Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Covington Community Center, 2150 North Williamson Road in Covington, PA. There is no setup fee, but it is requested that each vendor or crafter donate a raffle item to benefit this 501c3 non-profit organization.

Crafters sell items they make by hand, such as hand-knitted apparel, custom woodwork, or poured candles, while vendors sell anything from commercial goods to factory-made products, pre-packaged foods, vintage finds, or multi-level marketing/direct-sales merchandise like Tupperware or jewelry.

The core mission of the Tioga County Cat Project is to improve the lives of the people and cats in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, through spay/neuter for pets and strays. This reduces cat overpopulation, prevents cats and kittens from suffering from an illness or disease, and allows low-income individuals to access services they need to keep their homes and communities healthy.

Through donations and volunteer work, the Tioga County Cat Project is working to humanely control the cat population by providing TNR (trap, neuter/spay, return) and spay/neuter assistance to cat owners.

Due to increasing needs in the area, the group has been handling rescues, emergency situations, and adoptions for cats plus dogs, too. Dogs have been saved from hoarding, abuse, abandonment situations, and more.

During the Meowy & Bright Holiday Craft Fair, shop for unique handmade gifts, holiday treasures, and more while supporting this wonderful local animal rescue organization. There will also be door prizes, raffles, and 50-50 ticket sales, with the winner receiving 50 percent of the money and the Tioga County Cat Project receiving the other 50 percent.

There will be something for everyone at this festive holiday event. Among the participating crafters are: Lila Rose Hair Clips, Maddie’s Muffins, Sunshine’s Pens & More, Critter Sitter Crafts, Ivy’s Creations, and C.R. Cole’s Creations.

Hotties Hot Off The Grill will be selling food.

Every event like the Meowy & Bright Holiday Craft Fair helps support the Tioga County Cat Project and its mission to rescue, care for, and find loving homes for cats and dogs in need.
