At 6:30 PM on Monday, Scio & Wellsville ambulances dispatched co County Road 31 near Irons Road for 3 patients from a vehicle crash.

At 6:20 PM on Monday, Roulette ambulance has been called to Sartwell Creek Road for abdominal pain.

At 6:08 Pm on Monday, Shinglehouse ambulance has been called to Bailey Avenue for difficulty breathing.

At 4:43 PM on Monday, Kane Fire Dept. has been dispatched to 99 South Fraley Street for a vehicle fire with exposures at the fuel pumps.

At 4:28 PM on Monday, Port Allegany ambulance has been called to East Mill Street for a fall victim.

John J. Woods, 66, of Truman, PA passed away on Saturday (January 28, 2023) night. He was born January 18, 1957 In St. Marys, PA a son of the late Frederick and Lillian Johnson Woods.

John graduated from Cameron County High School. After high school he became a member of the United States Army. He then went on to work in various powdered metal factories until he retired due to health reasons.

He is survived by two sisters, Catherine Andrus (Scott) and Mary Whitehead (Pat), both of Emporium; three brothers, Edward Woods (Robin), Emporium; Daniel Woods (Gloria), Castle Garden and Michael Woods (Margie), Emporium, numerous nieces and nephews and a former sister in law Florence Beldin Woods Palumbo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Donald and Freddie Woods, two nephews Bryan and Christian, and his two rottweilers, Nikki and Kiera.

He enjoyed spending time with all of his family, especially his beloved dog Leigha. He had the most amazing sense of humor that everyone will remember him for. To know him was to love him. 

At his request there will be no visitation or service

At 2:39 PM on Sunday, Coudersport ambulance has been called to Kio Road for a woman fallen.

At 2:00 PM on Saturday, Eldred Fire Dept. dispatched to 1122 Barden Brook Road for electric lines down.

At 12:59 PM on Saturday, Shinglehouse ambulance has been called to Rt. 44 South for chest pains.

At 12:41 PM on Saturday, Bradford Firefighters have been dispatched to a house fire at 32 Summer Street.

At `1:05 PM on Saturday, Roulette ambulance has been called to Lanninger Creek Road for a female fall victim. Lift assist only needed.

On January 27 at 10:47 pm. Coudersport Fire and ambulance were dispatched tot 424 Buffalo St. for a solo dump truck crash

At 3:00 PM on Friday, Eldred Township Fire Dept & EMS have been dispatched to West Eldred Road & Prentissvale Road for a two vehicle crash. Port Allegany ambulance dispatched.

W HEBRON RD and ROUTE 44 N, Apt , HEBRON

Cross Streets : W HEBRON RD * CARPENTER RD.

Rescue 48-8, Engine 48-3 responded and provided hazard mitigation and traffic control ’til the vehicle was removed from a small creek.

Upon arrival of Chief Phelps the operator was still in the vehicle but self extricated with no injuries, CVAA/Medic assessed the Pt – they refused treatment.

The crash was investigated by PSP Cdspt and the vehicle was removed by Kightlinger motors. In all 21 personnel responded to the scene or stood by at the station.

On January 27 at 11:09 am Port Allegany, Smethport, Eldred, and Otto Fire Depts were dispatched for a second alarm commercial fire on Rt. 446 at the Eldred American Legion. Bradford tower one was also dispatched. The fire has been upgraded to a 3rd alarm fire with Olean and Portville being dispatched. Coudersport & Roulette have also been dispatched to the scene. Route 446 is closed.

At 8:20 AM on Friday, Roulette Fire Dept, dispatched to 413 Nain Street for a smoke investigation.

On January 26 at 8:44 pm. Coudersport Fire and ambulance were dispatched to W. Hebron Rd. for a one car motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries

On January 26, at 7:19 pm Lafayette Fire Dept. and Bradford Ambulance were dispatched to Rt. 219 in the area of Kennedy Springs for a one car crash vehicle is off the roadway on its side with unknown entrapment and injuries

On January 25 at 10:55 pm. Bradford City and Bradford TWP. fire Dept. were dispatched to W. Corydon St. for an automatic fire alarm

At 11:53 AM on Wednesday, Bradford Twp. Fire Dept. & City ambulance have been called to Minard Run Road for a rollover accident.

At 8:38 AM on Wednesday, Fire & EMS are responding to Route 275 in Friendship near the I-86 on ramp for a vehicle crash with reported entrapment. 2 occupants are now reported out of the vehicle denying injuries.
