Port Allegany – Bonnie Kay McKillip, 85, of Port Allegany, died Thursday (August 27, 2026) peacefully at her son’s home in Pitman, NJ surrounded by loved ones. 

Bonnie was born July 31, 1941, in Coudersport, the daughter of Lawrence and Marian (Covert) O’Connor. On October 29, 2018, in Lindley, NY, she married Kenneth G. McKillip.

Bonnie was a graduate of Port Allegany High School Class of 1959 and worked in different capacities in the Human Resources department for Glacier Garlock Bearings in Thorofare, NJ. She retired in 2010 and returned to her hometown of Port Allegany.

She is survived by three sons Kenneth (Kathy) Biel of Ocean View NJ, Eric Falk of San Antonio TX and Bret J. Biel of Pitman NJ,

Two daughters Amy Falk of Salem NJ, and Beth Biel of West Deptford NJ.

Six grandchildren Jaime Iacono, Kaysa Keating, Daniel Keating, Kassidy Keating, Kaden Biel, Payton Scott and sister-in-law Traci S. Rambo of Mantua NJ.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and husband, including infant sister Elizabeth O’Connor, brother Robert O’Connor and her favorite mother and father-in-law Dorothy and Richard Rambo.

Bonnie loved being the host of dinners at holidays, a great night of playing pinochle and eating junk food or just having anyone stop by for a chat. Never will she be quoted as eating anything at those dinners that was not the best food she ever ate! She was an avid fan of The Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Flyers, their AHL team, the Phantoms and of course the Philadelphia Phillies. She was an old school fan of NASCAR and Indy racing and even attended a race with Ken at Watkins Glen before he passed. Family was most important, especially with her family at Lake Wallenpaupack but her heart and soul were always at peace spending time with her family and friends on the beaches of Ocean City, NJ.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 8, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes Inc., 105 Main St., Port Allegany, PA. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 9 at 11:00 AM in St Gabriel’s Catholic Church, 203 Arnold Ave., Port Allegany, with the Rev. Joseph Dougherty, as celebrant.  Burial will be in the St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Port Allegany, PA.

Memorials if desired may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
