Logan Route This Friday, August 16 At The Deane Center In Wellsboro
At 6 p.m. this Friday, August 16, Logan Route will perform on the outdoor stage at the Deane Center for the Performing Arts at 104 Main Street in Wellsboro. The outdoor stage is located on the Central Avenue side of the building.
Route has been playing acoustic guitar and singing for the past seven years, since 2018. “I was 18 when I started getting serious about learning to play guitar,” he said. “My aunt and uncle bought me my first guitar and I started to learn to play right away.” He taught himself
through online videos and chord charts.
“”Performing as a solo acoustic artist is my full-time career,” Route said. “I usually do 2 to 3 shows per week performing classic to modern country music. I play all over North Central PA and the New York Finger Lakes region.”
Some of my favorite artists whose cover tunes I perform are George Strait, Conway Twitty, Sawyer Brown, Waylon Jennings as well as Luke Combs and Chris Stapleton. Some of my fans’ favorites are ‘Friends in Low Places,’ ‘Tennessee Whiskey,’ ‘Wagon Wheel,’ and ‘Hello Darlin’.”
He continued, “I have written and recorded several of my own songs including ‘Dancin’ in the Kitchen’ and ‘Guide Me Home’.”
Route grew up in Canton, PA, graduated in 2016 from Canton Junior-Senior High School and moved to Wellsboro in 2020 where he has lived for the past 4 years.
