Doris M. ROBBINS, 86, of Port Allegany, PA, died Thursday, July 2, 2026 in her home.  Born January 17, 1940, in Port Allegany, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Mildred Lindsey Austin.  

A graduate of Port Allegany High School, she was employed as a dietician at the Port Allegany Hospital.  On August 23, 1986, in Port Allegany, she married Robert E. Robbins, who predeceased her on April 2, 2019.  She and Bob owned and operated the Robbin’s Nest Restaurant in Port Allegany. 

She and her children operated Mother Daughter Creations selling homemade candy and crafts.  Doris enjoyed bingo, crocheting, and playing cards, especially Hollywood rummy.  Surviving are: a son, Richard (Melissa) Lathrop of Milford, DE; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Witter and Harriet Bigley, both of Port Allegany; nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two daughters, Julie Lathrop and Cheryl D. Lathrop; and a son, Keith Lathrop.  A Memorial Service for Doris and Cheryl will be held 12:00 PM, Saturday, August 8, 2026 in the Port Allegany United Methodist Church.  Rev. James A.
