Thomas R. Davido, 72, of Ridgway, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Aruba with his wife by his side.

He was born on September 17, 1953, in Ridgway, the son of the late Donald J. and Ruth C. Harvey Davido.

On May 10, 1975, at St. Leo Church, he married Jo-Ann Marchese, with whom he celebrated 50 years of a blessed marriage.

Tom was a proud graduate of Ridgway High School, where he completed his studies in 1971. He would go on to further his education at the University of Pittsburgh , where he cultivated a passion for learning that would stay with him throughout his life. Tom was a dedicated employee who devoted many years of his life to serving others at Dickinson Center and later retired from Elk Haven Nursing Home in 2017.

Tom dedicated over 50 years of his life to the Ridgway Fire Department, where his unwavering commitment and passion for service touched the lives of countless individuals. He was also a respected 302 delegate and brought his expertise as a consultant to numerous nursing homes.

An avid golfer, he spent countless hours on the course, honing his skills and enjoying the camaraderie of friends. Yet, one of his greatest joys came from traveling with his wife, creating cherished memories together as they explored new places and experienced life to the fullest. Above all else, Tom loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lesley Davido of Northeast, PA, a son, Michael (Heather) Davido of Warminster, PA, 3 grandchildren: Destiney Fuchs, Ella Davido, and Mason Davido, and 1 great grandchild, River Nicklas. He is also survived by 4 siblings: Ronald Davido of Ridgway, Patricia (Dennis) Lynch of CA, Randy (Suzan) Davido of Brockport, and Lori (Joseph) Santiso of VA, a brother-in-law, Frank Rutigliano of Ridgway, many nieces, nephews, and neighbors.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by sister, Ruth Ann Rutigliano, and sister-in-law, Susan Davido.

Funeral Services for Thomas R. Davido are being held privately by the family.
