Montoursville, PA – In an effort to improve our environment and clean up our local roadways, PennDOT maintenance crews in Montour County will pick up litter over the next two weeks along the following roadways:

• Interstate 80 between the Northumberland County and Columbia County lines.
• Route 54 between the Interstate 80 interchange and Danville Borough.

Crews will be picking up litter along the above routes beginning Monday, March 17, 2025, to Friday, March 21, 2025, during daylight hours, weather permitting.

There will be no impacts to traffic during litter cleanup activities. Motorists are reminded to slow down, drive with caution, be alert for stopped or slow-moving vehicles, and watch for workers near the roadway.
