Gail was nominated by a co-worker who shared:
“Several staff have come forward to give Gail praise for the excellent care she provides to our residents at Haven Place. Gail is very diligent in her work and always completes her assigned tasks. Even on her busiest nights working, she manages to complete tasks that are not necessarily expected of her. Gail does not work for praise or reward; this is just her natural work ethic. She is an employee you can always count on to show up on time and have her tasks accomplished before the end of her shift. Gail does the little things that mean so much to our residents. She will clean up a resident’s room while they are sleeping so they wake up to a nice, organized room. If Gail knows that dayshift had a call off, she will get more residents up and ready to help out her dayshift co-workers. We are truly grateful to have Gail on our team at Haven Place.”
Angela was nominated by a co-worker who shared:
“Angela is a gem in our office. She is a huge help to all staff. She willingly trains new people and is always welcoming to every person. She is a huge asset to our team and I personally would not be able to do my job without her. She always volunteers to stay late, come in early or on a Saturday to help others. Our patients love her and so do we. We would be lost without her.”
Cody was nominated by a co-worker who shared:
“Cody has been with UPMC for more than 20 years. He comes to work every day with a smile and good morning greeting to everyone. Cody follows our quality and safety guidelines daily by making sure he uses wet floor signs, cleaning outside entrances and lobbies and keeping them clear of debris. Cody shows respect to everyone he crosses paths with. Cody cares about his team and UPMC. He shows this daily by going above and beyond his own job duties to help. Every department at UPMC is blessed by having Cody a part of our team.”
