Theft Arrest In Bradford

On July 22, 2026, at approximately 1036pm, the City of Bradford Police Department responded to a disturbance call at 53 West Corydon Street. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who reported that Theodore Bryan had assaulted a male individual and stolen a cell phone before fleeing the scene.
Officers located Bryan outside Kiwanis Court and attempted to speak with him. However, Bryan became agitated and was intoxicated, throwing the stolen cell phone in question. When officers tried to detain him, Bryan ignored commands to stop and attempted to flee the scene. A brief foot pursuit ensued, during which officers tackled Bryan to the ground, making the arrest. Bryan resisted arrest during the incident. He was taken into custody and subsequently arraigned by Magistrate Luther, who remanded him to McKean County Jail on $20,000 cash bail.
Preliminary hearings are scheduled in the matter. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
