The Bradford Chamber Foundation and Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce will host their annual Autumn Auction on Thursday, October 8, at The Bradford Club, bringing together local businesses and community members for an evening of dinner, bidding, and fun.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the auction begins at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person and include dinner, music from DJ Benzo and signature drinks available for purchase.

The Autumn Auction is the Bradford Chamber Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year and has become a longstanding tradition made possible by the generosity of Chamber members and businesses throughout the community. Each year, businesses donate products, gift certificates, services, baskets, and specialty items that are featured throughout the evening.

“The Autumn Auction has been successful for so many years because of the support we receive from our members and our community,” said Heidi Scrivo, CEO of the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce and Bradford Chamber Foundation. “Our businesses donate items, sponsor the event, buy tickets, and come ready to bid. We don’t take that support for granted. It means a great deal to us and allows us to continue doing the work we do throughout the year.”

Proceeds from the Auction help support the Chamber’s work on behalf of local businesses and the Bradford community. That work includes business promotion and ribbon cuttings, the Community Guide, Shop Small campaign, Restaurant Week, Women in Business Expo, Chamber Scoop, business advocacy, networking and educational opportunities, the annual Christmas Parade and resources for more than 300 Chamber members.

Guests at this year’s Auction can look forward to a fun evening of bidding, dinner, and time spent with fellow Chamber members and community supporters. A variety of items donated by local businesses will be available throughout the evening, giving attendees plenty of opportunities to take something special home while supporting the Chamber.

The Chamber is still welcoming businesses and individuals who would like to be part of this year’s event. Auction items and basket donations, sponsorships, and ticket purchases are all ways to support the fundraiser.
