Environmental Education Programs – May 13th & 17th
Program Title: Wildflower Walk
Date: Tuesday, May 13th
Time: 4:00 – 5:30 PM
Location: Environmental Learning Center
Description: Join state park volunteer, Dawn Bristol, the park educator, and staff from the Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library for a spring wildflower walk! A short talk on wildflowers, a walk around the park to see what we can find, flower-themed story time and an activity are what’s in store for this program. Wear sturdy shoes for walking on the trails and feel free to bring a water bottle.

Program Title: Mothers of Nature
Date: Saturday, May 17th
Time: 3:00 PM
Location: Environmental Learning Center
Description: Stop by the ELC to learn some interesting facts about PA mammal and bird moms and how they raise their young. Short talk followed by a Mother’s Day themed craft.

Program Title: Waterproof & Webbed
Date: Saturday, May 17th
Time: 8:00 PM
Location: Campground Amphitheater
Description: Did you know that there are 23 different species of ducks in Pennsylvania? Come out to this program to learn about the general characteristics of these feathered friends and something unique about each species. Short talk followed by a movie—feel free to bring snacks and a blanket!
