Sandra L Taylor Holt, 72, of Knoxville, TN passed away at home on November 26, 2023 following a lengthy illness. 

She was born December 19, 1950 in Port Allegany, PA to the late Harold W. Taylor and Cinderella L. Taylor and grew up in Betula, PA.

She is survived by her children, Tina M. Knight (Mitchell Bentley) of Mascot, TN, Paul Knight of Mascot, TN and Richard Knight of Clifton, TN, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and her dear friend Paul Knight of Mascot, TN

She is also survived by four sisters:  Linda St. John of Washington, DC, Joan Taylor (Jerry Few) of Harpers Ferry, WV, Lu Ann Shadman (Mike) of Oakton, VA and Michele Ziafatmadary (Hamid) of Rockville, MD, and five brothers:  Floyd Taylor of Harpers Ferry, WV, Harold Taylor of Hedgesville, WV, David Taylor (Sue) of Taylorsville, NC, Robert Taylor (Janice) of Glasgow, VA and Daniel (Anne) Taylor of Kearneysville, and many extended family members. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gary L. Holt  and five brothers. 

She was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and a loyal friend.  She enjoyed cooking for her family and helping out her neighbors and would literally give you the shirt off her back.  She had a green thumb and surrounded herself with beautiful plants.
