Robert D. Bowers, 87, of Marienville, PA passed away Wednesday May 21, 2025 at Snyder Memorial Health Care in Marienville.  He was born July 7, 1937, in Blossburg, to George Charles and Anna Rebecca (Watkins) Bowers.  Robert graduated from high school, and served in the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. 

Following his service, he worked at Union Dividers in Elmira, NY and the A&P Food Processing plant in Horseheads, NY.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting, going to flea markets and gardening.  To those who knew him, he was sweet, kind, gentle and lighthearted.

Robert is survived by a daughter:  Doris Bell (Thomas); a son:  Robert Bowers, Jr. (Terry); grandchildren:  Sara Nichols, Amber Bell (Sander), Krista Bowers-Wheeler, and Rachel Bowers-Brill; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son:  Lewis Bowers.
