Potter County Artisan Co-op Up-coming Events and Classes
- The Potter County Artisan Co-op will host the Annual Student Art Show from May 3 – May 17. Stop in to see art created by the local school students from Potter County Schools. To open the event, the Co-op will host a reception and a hands-on creative project for attendees as part of The Remake Learning Days on May 3 from 1-3pm. Treats and crafts available for all during this time to celebrate the beginning of the student art show.
- Paint and Pour for Kids is the second class in the PCAC monthly Kids Art Series, held on May 15 from 3:00-4:30. Oil and Acrylic Master Painter, Gary Perkins, will be teaching students how to create a painting using pouring acrylic on canvas. Gary Perkins is a well-known local oil and acrylic painter. He has painted many of Potter County’s most well-known landmarks. Price of the class is $25.00 and includes all materials. Snack is also provided.
- Laurie Angood will be teaching a Beginner Watercolor Class on May 24 from 1 – 3. In this class students will practice painting a landscape using one color, focusing on color value and other compositional techniques to describe their subject. Price of the class is $35.00 and includes all materials.

To register for these classes or events, please call the Potter County Artisan Co-op on 814-274-8165. The co-op is located at 227 N. Main Street. The co-op’s winter hours are Monday through Friday 12 to 4:00 pm and Saturday 9-5pm.
