Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of single lane conditions next week on Pine Street (Route 1011) in Selinsgrove Borough, Snyder County, for bridge maintenance.

On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge crew will perform bridge cleaning of the truss bridge over Penns Creek. Work includes cleaning the bridge deck, sidewalk, abutment bearings, and horizontal beam surfaces. A specialized crane will be used to perform cleaning of the abutment bearings.

Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging between South Water Street in Selinsgrove Borough and Third Street on the Isle of Que. Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone.

On Monday, April 28, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge crew will perform bridge cleaning of the truss bridge over Middle Creek. Work includes cleaning the bridge deck, and abutment bearings. A specialized crane will be used to assist with cleaning of the abutment bearings.

Traffic Impacts:

Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging between Sale Barn Road and Hollow Road, northwest of the village of Kreamer. Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting.

One Day Bridge Closure on Little Mexico Road Next Week in Jackson Township, Snyder County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Little Mexico Road (Route 1013) will be closed next Thursday in Jackson Township, Snyder County, for bridge maintenance.

On Thursday, May 1, 2025, Little Mexico Road will be closed on each side of the truss bridge over Penns Creek, while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge crew performs bridge cleaning. Work includes cleaning the bridge deck, abutment bearings, and horizontal beam surfaces. A specialized crane will be used to assist with performing cleaning of the abutment bearings.

A detour using Route 204 and Route 304 will be in place while work is being performed.  Work will be performed between the hours of 7:45 AM and 2:30 PM, weather permitting.
