Kevin Coolidge, owner of From My Shelf Books and Gifts and a children’s author from Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, read a selection from “The Totally Ninja Raccoons Meet the Jersey Devil,” one of the 10 books in his Totally Ninja Raccoons series, and autographed copies at a signing at Tiny Raccoon Books in Sayville on Long Island, New York on Sunday, Nov. 5
Tiny Raccoon Books recently opened in Sayville and sells new and used books and does special orders.
Why did Daniel McGowan name his bookstore Tiny Raccoon Books? “Dan is an avid gardener and loves raccoons, even if they get into his compost. They are the ultimate recyclers,” Coolidge said.
It was inevitable that the Totally Ninja Raccoons would be attracted to a bookstore named Tiny Raccoon Books. The event was scheduled for the Sunday of the time change in order to fit the trip into the day. Coolidge and his wife Kasey drove there, he did the event and they returned to Wellsboro the same day.
