We had so much fun competing this weekend!! Thank you Nexstar National Talent Competition and Lauren for running such a smooth weekend, we had the best time on and off the stage! Made You Look and Wanna Have Fun were named Regional Champions, Wanna Have Fun earned a Choreography Award, Shake Your Tail Feather and Made You Look earned Entertainment Awards, the team came home with 19 Platinums, and some Golden Tickets to Worlds! A huge shout out to Emily for receiving an invitation to the Power Pak and Kenleigh for earning a scholarship to the Wild Dance Intensive! So proud of all the hard work these girls continue to put in!

Robert Paul “Bobby” TRASK, 48, of Hinsdale, NY

Robert Paul “Bobby” TRASK, 48, of Hinsdale, NY, died Sunday, April 7, 2024 in his home.
Born December 23, 1975, in Cuba, he was son of Paul and Linda Dunning Trask.
Bobby enjoyed music, being outdoors and sitting in the sun, napping on the couch, a good meal, and being with his friends.
CANOE PLACE HISTORICAL SOCIETY ANNOUNCEMENT
On Sunday, Appril 7. 2024, The Board of Directors of the Canoe Place Historical Society of Port Allegany Pennsylvania held a meeting to reorganize and rejuvenate the Society.
At this time a decision was made to streamline the slate of officers to better fit the times and a new meeting schedule was adopted.

Michael R. Yount, 73, of Emporium, PA

Michael R. Yount, 73, of Emporium, PA passed away at UPMC Cole, Coudersport, PA on Saturday morning (April 6, 2024) following a lengthy illness. He was born January 17, 1951 in Rayburn Township, Kittaning, PA a son of the late George Carl and Hattie Corman Yount.
Michael graduated from Kittaning High School. He was a member of the Driftwood-Emporium Masonic Lodge, 532, F.& A.M. where he served as past master and was a member of the Coudersport Consistory-Scottish Rite and a member of the Shriners International. He was an avid life long Penn State fan.
