Gregory C. Barrera, 67, of Rt. 46 in Smethport, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024, at his residence with his wife at his side.
Born in San Gabriel, CA on June 21, 1957, he was a son of Raymond Barrera, Sr., of San Gabriel, CA and the late Vivian (Candela) Barrera.
He was a 1975 graduate of San Gabriel High School.
On June 28, 1978, he joined the United States Army. He spent his four years as a Firefighter, and Food Service Specialist. He was honorably discharged on June 27, 1981.
On September 26, 1998, in Big Bear Lake CA, he married Toni Rae (Lester) Barrera, who survives.
Linda L. Howard, 81, of Russell, Pa, formerly of Neiltown, Pa, died on Saturday November 23, 2024, in St. Vincent Hospital, Erie, Pa.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday November 26, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East Street Warren Pa, 16365.
Funeral services and burial in Neiltown Cemetery will be private and held at the convenience of the family. A complete obituary will be published when its available.
James L. CRAMER, 71, of Bath, NY, formerly of Whitesville, died Thursday, November 21, 2024 in the Steuben Center, Bath.
Born October 13, 1953, in Hornell, he was the son of Barry C. and M. Barbara Cleveland Cramer. A graduate of Whitesville Central School, he served honorably in the U.S. Army.
Through the years, he was employed by Pennsylvania Railroad, Fitzpatrick Poultry Farms, Morrison-Knudsen in Hornell, and as a self-employed logger.
Surviving are: his mother, M. Barbara Cramer of South Carolina; five children, Jeana (Jason) Wood of Sebastian, FL, Jeremy (Brenda Davenport) Cramer of Genesee, PA, Zachariah Cramer of Whitesville, Ashley Cramer of Rochester, and Christen Cramer of Harrison Valley, PA; six grandchildren, Sarah, Mackenzie, Chelsey, Tyler, Ervin, and Kindbud; ten great-grandchildren; three brothers, Barry Cramer, Jr. of TN, Scott Cramer of SC, and Jon (Stephanie) Cramer of SC; four sisters, Jacqueline Robbins of Whitesville, Penny Bryant of Whitesville, Becky (Johnny) Marlow of NC, and Loni (Paul) Phelps of Whitesville; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father; and three siblings, Terry Cramer, Joseph Cramer, and Paul Cramer.
Services will be private. Cremation was at OLNEY-FOUST Private Crematory.

On November 24, at 1:31 pm Franklinville and Olean were dispatched to Rt. 16 for a one vehicle crash a truck in a ditch with multiple occupants with unknow injuries and unknown entrapment.
Maxine Ruth McFall, 87, of Turtlepoint, passed away peacefully on Saturday (November 23, 2024) at her home in Turtlepoint, with her family by her side.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 10 AM-12 Noon at the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes Inc., 105 N Main St., Port Allegany, where funeral services will start at 12 noon, with the Rev. James Kazimer, Pastor of the First Church of God, Eldred, officiating.
Burial will be in the Annin Creek Cemetery, Turtlepoint.

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s wrestling team had two individual champions — including the most outstanding — one second-place finisher and two third-place finishers to end third among eight teams in its own invitational on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the college’s basketball teams are set to begin United East Conference play on Tuesday at home, with the women facing Lancaster Bible College at 5 p.m. and the men playing Penn State Brandywine at 7 p.m.
John A. “Jack” Grube, 89 of 100 High Point Dr., passed away Friday (Nov. 15) at in the Lutheran Home at Kane. Born Oct. 6, 1935, in Punxsutawney, he was the son of the late Russell and Ellen (Shirk) Grube.
After graduating from Cameron County High School in 1955 Jack entered the Air Force and was stationed at Scott’s Air Force Base in Illinois. On June 8, 1956, in Belleville, IL he married his high school sweetheart, Donna Caton, who survives. Upon returning he worked for many years at the Quality Market, Market Basket, and was the Food Service Director for The Nutrition Group in Kane and Brockway. After “retiring” he worked for the KASD providing specialized transportation for many years. He was a past member of the Kane Lions Club, the Men’s Chorus, and participated in several productions of the Kane Players. He was also a member of the Kane Sports Boosters being inducted into the Sports Boosters Hall of Fame after nearly 50 years of working the chain gang and running the clock for football and running the time clock for basketball, volleyball, and wrestling. He was a very active member of St. John’s Episcopal Church where he held several organizational positions. Jack was awarded the Ambassador of Peace medal for missionary work in Spain along with his good friend, the Rev. Stephen Shuart.
