Owen George Saulter, 72 Of, Coudersport, PA
Owen George Saulter, affectionately known as “Buck”, was born in Coudersport, Pennsylvania on January 20, 1952, to the late Clair and Susan (Whit) Saulter. He passed away after a long illness on July 9, 2024, at the age of 72, surrounded by loved ones.
Buck is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Mary (Veselka) Saulter, his two sons Trevor Saulter (Jennifer), Chris Saulter and two stepdaughters, Kimberly (Mouser) Linam, her husband, Mike and Shawn (Mouser) Sabol.
He is also survived by his siblings: Mary Dunkleberger, Linda Blouser, and Gary “Topper” Saulter.
He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Cash, Waylon, Joshua, Tara, Emma, Ryan, and great grandchild Sawyer along with several nieces and nephews.
Buck will be deeply missed by all who knew him for his love of work, organization and always having a project going.
Buck was a level 3 NDE Technician, API 510/570. He started working in the pipeline industry in 1974 and held the position of training coordinator for multiple companies as well.
He loved the outdoors, animals and taking trips to hill country in the RV.
His love for his family was strong and enjoyed having family around. He always looked forward to returning to Pennsylvania for the Saulter Family Reunions and visiting with family and friends.
A funeral will be held at Moore Funeral Home in Refugio, TX on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 1:30 pm.
