Olean Medical Group Celebrates Ribbon Cutting Of New Women’s Health Clinic In Bradford

Bradford, PA – Olean Medical Group (OMG), a Kaleida Health organization, celebrated its official grand opening of the new women’s health clinic with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce helped coordinate the event that had many local leaders and community members present.
“This is an exciting ribbon cutting for our community,” said Heidi Scrivo, president, Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce. “To know that we now have dedicated women’s health services right here on the hospital campus is truly wonderful. It’s a great step forward for local healthcare and for the women in our region.”
OMG’s women’s health clinic opened in August on the Bradford Regional Medical Center’s (BRMC) campus inside the Medical Arts Building. Since opening, the clinic recruited a full-time certified nurse midwife and Bradford native, Katie Gleason, CNM, MSN, RN. Gleason and the OMG team of obstetrics and gynecology providers are dedicated to providing comprehensive and accessible care for women of all ages.
The new clinic will be led by Gleason, who brings extensive experience and specialized training in women’s hormone therapy and comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care.
“At a time where healthcare is facing a multitude of challenges, we are excited to continue to reinforce our mission of ensuring that every woman has access to the high-quality, personalized care she deserves,” said Chris Strade, chief executive officer, OMG. “This is a huge win for the Bradford community by improving access and adding Katie Gleason to our team. But, putting the clinic on the BRMC campus was a strategic move that creates accessibility of complementary services such as lab work or imaging services including mammograms for our patients.”
Gleason and her team will provide a full range of obstetric and gynecological services, including: pregnancy care, well-women care, breast and cervical cancer screenings, HPV education and prevention, preconception counseling, contraception, skin lesion removal, Nexplanon insertion and removal, IUD insertion and removal, endometrial and vulvar biopsy, and the diagnosis and management of abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids and other urology and urogynecological conditions.
The clinic will also focus on women’s midlife and menopausal care, including hormone therapy. Gleason is a Women’s Hormone Therapy Specialist, accredited through the Heather Hirsch Academy, ensuring evidence-based and individualized treatment options for women navigating peri- and post-menopausal health changes.
“It’s so fulfilling to be a part of this growth in our community, especially seeing the obstacles that rural healthcare is faced with,” added Gleason. “I am excited to continue making a difference in the Bradford community and to offer services that support women throughout every stage of life.”
Gleason is accepting new patients at 195 Pleasant Street, Bradford, PA. To schedule an appointment, please call (814) 363-2760 or to find out more information, please visit www.oleanmedicalgroup.com.
“Being able to care for my own community – the families, friends and neighbors who make this area home – is an incredible honor. That’s what makes local healthcare so meaningful,” said Gleason.
