Mary Ann MAJOR, 85, Of Pueblo West, CO, formerly Of Lakeland, FL And Port Allegany, PA

Mary Ann MAJOR, 85, of Pueblo West, CO, formerly of Lakeland, FL and Port Allegany, PA, died Saturday, April 18, 2026 in UCHealth Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo. She was born September 12, 1940, in Mills, PA. Raised in Harrison Valley, PA, she was the daughter of Robert J. and Freda Thompson Burrell.
A 1958 graduate of Northern Potter High School, she was employed by Ball Foster Glass Company in Port Allegany. She was a member of Free Life Chapel in Lakeland, FL and a follower of Turning Point with Dr David Jerimiah.
Mary Ann was very musical and played piano by ear. She and her mother would play duets on the piano and organ for hours. A social person, she played cards and bingo with friend groups all her life. She was an avid racing fan. Mary Ann had an exhaustive memory for people, places, and events that occurred in her life and was a great conversationalist. Mary Ann had an unbridled passion for giraffes, highlighted by a 2025 visit to TN to see Kipekee, the spotless giraffe before her own untimely passing.
Surviving are: three children, Linda (Gary) Suppa of Wausau, WI, Daniel (Suzanne) Lutinski of Blountville, TN, and James Lutinski of Pueblo West CO; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and cousins. She was predeceased by her longtime companion, David L. Hershour.
Friends may call at Montgomery and Steward Funeral Chapel, Pueblo CO, on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 3:00 – 4:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at 4:00 PM. Burial will be in Mills Cemetery, Mills, PA with her parents. The family is being assisted locally by Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory.
