Marjorie L. BURR, 89, of Smethport, PA, formerly of Port Allegany, died Monday, November 2, 2026, in UPMC Cole, Coudersport.  Born December 14, 1936, in Port Allegany, she was the daughter of Levin Carl and Grace Orene Phalin Larson.  On July 20, 1957, in Clarence Center, NY, she married Herbert E. Burr, who predeceased her on November 13, 1992. 

A 1954 graduate of Port Allegany High School, she was employed as a dental assistant by Dr. Phil Carlson, Sr. for 27 years.  Marjorie was a member of Sartwell Creek Union Church and Smethport Senior Center. 

Surviving are: two sons, Todd (Tammy) Burr of Mechanicsville, MD and Matthew (Nadine) Burr of Port Allegany; three grandchildren, Tyler Burr, Makenzie (Brock) Veilleux, and Sarah (Logan) Rock; a great-grandson, Brian Veilleux; nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, Robert Larson, John “Jack” Larson, and Carlton “Carly” Larson; and four sisters, Beverly “Babe” Comes, Donna Jewart, Lois Howe, and Betty Redington. 

Friends may call Friday, November 6, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Switzer Chapel, 77 Willow Street, Port Allegany, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM.  Rev. Allen Long will officiate.  Burial will be in Card Creek Cemetery, Roulette.  Memorials may be made to Sartwell Creek Union Church.
