Marilyn J. Smith, 83, formerly of 668 Interstate Parkway, Bradford, PA passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born October 25, 1939, at the Farrell Dairy Farm home, in Bradford she was a daughter of the late Walter L. and Mary R. (Hotelling) Farrell. She graduated from Bradford High School class of 1957.
On March 1, 1958, in Bradford, she married Gerald B. Smith who preceded her in death on July 26, 2009.
Marilyn was a homemaker and formally worked at Dresser Manufacturing.
Marilyn was a huge Buffalo Sabres fan as well as the Cleveland Browns.
Surviving is one daughter, Jennifer A. Smith, two sons, David M. (Debbie) Smith, of Bradford, and Steven A. (Andrea) Smith, of Piedmont SC, two sisters, Carol M. (the late Fred) Henke, and Janice E. (Charlie) Kaefer, both of Bradford, one brother, Walter J. (Connie) Farrell, of Tyrone, four grandchildren, Joseph Smith, Jennifer Moshier, Tristan Smith, and James Smith, two great grandchildren, Hunter and Haylee Moshier, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Roger Smith, who died on March 7, 2001, and one son-in-law, Irwin Joe Baker, who died January 6, 2005.
Family will receive friends Friday December 30, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave., at 6:00 pm services will be held with Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes retired Presbyterian minister officiating.
