Kathleen Marie (Kennedy) Hancock, 74, of Middlebury passed away on Saturday December 21, 2024, at The Green Home in Wellsboro. She was born in Wellsboro on March 1, 1950, to Mahlon and Wanda (Bockus) Kennedy. She married Billy Hancock on March 30, 1970.

She was a Case Worker at the Tioga County Assistance Office, A member of the First Baptist Church of Wellsboro, member of Pioneer Club chaperoned mission trips and made four mission trips to the Dominican Republic, and she was an avid bowler.

Kathleen is survived by her husband: Billy Hancock of Middlebury; son: Thomas Leroy Hancock (Sue) of Middlebury; grandchildren: Michael Hancock of Little Marsh, Tyler Hancock of Wellsboro; brothers: Bruce Kennedy (Karen) of Virginia, Gary Kennedy (Patricia) of Wellsboro. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister: Lorna Babcock.

Family and friends are invited to Kathleen’s visitation at Wellsboro First Baptist Church on Thursday January 2, 2025, from 10am-11am with a Memorial Service to follow at 11am.  Donations in her memory may be made to the Pioneer Club at the Wellsboro First Baptist Church 25 Central Avenue Wellsboro, PA 16901.  Kathleen’s family has entrusted the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main Street, Wellsboro, with her arrangements.
