The Education Council has five fun summer camps planned for your kids!

Summer camps at Northern Potter Children’s School:

We (Heart) Art Summer Camp This camp is FULL: During this camp, students will create various projects using several different mediums (including but not limited to) watercolor, tempera paint, paint sticks, clay, and coloring pencils. This camp will be held on June 9 – 12, 2025. 

3D Art & Design: In this camp, students will have the chance to work with clay, papier mâché, cast materials, and more. This camp will be held on June 23 – 26, 2025.

Both art camps, taught by Angela Lewis, Art Teacher for Northern Potter School District, will be held at Northern Potter’s Children’s School from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and are for students entering grades 2 – 12. The cost for each camp is $20 per participant.

Summer camps at the Education Council in Coudersport:

Minecraft Mania: Get ready for an epic adventure that will take you to the blocky world of Minecraft! Join us for an exciting camp that will challenge your critical thinking skills, ignite your creativity, and test your teamwork abilities like never before. Collaborate with your fellow campers to overcome obstacles, create solutions, and achieve your goals. But the excitement does not stop there! You will also compete in team challenges that will put your Minecraft skills to the test. Build the tallest tower, navigate a tricky maze, or solve a riddle to unlock the next level.

For students entering grades 5 – 8, camp will be held on July 28 – 31, 2025; for students entering grades 9 – 12, camp will be held on August 4 – 7, 2025.

Dungeons and Dragons

Attention all thrill-seekers and problem-solving masters! Get ready for an action-packed summer adventure at our electrifying camp! Join us for an unforgettable journey into the world of Dungeons and Dragons and other tabletop games. Immerse yourself in a full quest as you collaborate with your team to tackle obstacles and challenges. With an emphasis on problem-solving and teamwork skills, you will sharpen your critical thinking and communication abilities, all while having a blast! This camp is perfect for students entering grades 7 – 12 who are ready for an unforgettable summer experience. This camp will be held on August 11 – 14, 2025.

These camps, taught by Brent Bryant, Networking Instructor at the Seneca Highlands CTC, will be held at the Education Council office in Coudersport from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The cost for each camp is $20 per participant.
