On September 1, the Galeton Senior Center moved into its new home at 11 Union Street in Galeton, PA.

The center would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to all of its members and the Galeton Ministerium volunteers who helped make the move possible. Without the time and effort of these volunteers, the move would have been a tremendous undertaking.

A special thank-you also goes to Gary Leach for updating the building to meet the needs of the Senior Center.

The center would also like to express its sincere appreciation to an anonymous donor who provided a wonderful housewarming gift of embroidered caps and aprons for the center’s volunteers.

The Galeton Senior Center is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering a welcoming place for friendship, games, and meals.

If you would like to join the center for a meal, please place your meal order one week in advance on Wednesdays.
