Free Summer Workshops for Youth and Farmers in Potter County
Coudersport, PA – The Penn State Extension Office in Potter County is pleased to present a series of free, hands-on workshops for youth this June. From nature exploration to creative crafting, these Youth Make & Take events offer fun and educational experiences for young participants. Provided in partnership with Potter County Creative Council and funding from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
- Nature Journaling – June 4, 6-7 PM at Austin Memorial Dam
- Terrariums – June 10, 5-6:30 PM at Potter County Extension Office
- Sew an Apron – June 18, 6-8 PM at Potter County Extension Office
- Button Art – June 24, 5:30-6:30 PM at Oswayo Valley Memorial Library
In addition to youth-focused programming, farmers and nature enthusiasts can take advantage of valuable workshops designed to foster sustainable practices and community collaboration:
- New and Beginning Farmer Study Circle – June 11, 6-8 PM at Applewood Hollow Farm
- Starting a Pollinator Garden – June 14, 11 AM-1 PM at Potter County Extension Office
This month we also offer one complimentary shipping date to the Agricultural Analytical Services Lab at Penn State.
- Water Test and Soil Test Complimentary Shipping – June 16 by 5pm
