* WHERE…Portions of central and western New York, including the following counties, in central New York, Jefferson, Lewis, Northern Cayuga and Oswego. In western New York, Allegany,Livingston, Monroe, Ontario and Wayne.
* WHEN…From 2 PM EDT this afternoon through Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

– Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage this afternoon and evening. Periods of heavy rain may produce amounts of 1 to 2 inches, with localized heavier amounts
possible. This rainfall falling on already saturated grounds will result in the potential for flash flooding.
