Etta M. (Gee) VanGorden, 65 of Tioga, PA passed away on April 17, 2026. She was born on January 29, 1961 and was a daughter to Larry and Betty (Smith) Gee. Etta is survived by her husband her hero, David, of 49 years; children, Bruce L. (Jamie) VanGorden, Curt (Nicole) VanGorden, god daughter Katelyn (Daltyn) Confer; grandchildren, Raegan, Kenedy, and Wyatt VanGorden; father, Larry L. Gee; brothers-in-law, Bobby (Charlene) Knickerbocker, Terry VanGorden, Pete (Sue) VanGorden, and Charles “Bounce” (Jan) VanGorden; sisters-in-law, Judy (Joe) Francischtello, Paula (Steve) Copp, and Alverta (Sis) White; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mom, Betty Anne Gee; grandson, Cody Lee VanGorden; father-in-law, Peter G. VanGorden, mother-in-law, Alverta (Dood) McConnell; and sisters-in-law, Debbie VanGorden, Carol Crane, and Kay VanGorden.

She along with her dad, mom, and son, Bruce ran B&L Portable Toilet Rental Inc. and later started B&L Septic Service LLC for approximately 35 years, until her recent retirement. At Dave’s retirement they spent as much of their winters in Florida with their great friends, Jim and Sue. Anyone that knew Etta knew a sunny day was a good day.Her passion later in life was riding her Harley Davidson with her “motorcycle family” that kept her going in more ways than you could count. She enjoyed watching Raegan and Kenedy with their Volleyball games, riding her motorcycle, camping, and music and dancing. She was a member of the Elkland Moose Lodge and American Legion of Punta Gorda, FL. A special thank you to the Hospice Crew, you are all most definitely angels here on earth. Family and friends are called to Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St, Elkland, PA 16920 on Saturday, April 25th from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 4:00 pm. After cremation, Etta will be laid to rest at Farmington Hill Cemetery in Tioga at the discretion of the family.
